Business Development Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION
Eagle Air Med is seeking a motivated Business Development Specialist to join their elite team in Blanding, UT. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented and outgoing and must have excellent personal presentation and strong verbal and written communication skills. The Business Development Specialist will develop relationships with customers and find ways to develop the company. Work includes travel and fluctuating hours.

Minimum
Qualifications:
Previous experience in marketing/sales or other related fields.
Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software applications.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business management or public relations.
Experience in the medical industry.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
The Business Development Specialist position will report directly to the Program Director with that company and work closely with the Marketing Team and the Vice President of Marketing. The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for the following tasks, responsibilities, and expectations:
Tasks:
- Track, monitor and evaluate company and competitor flight statistics on a daily basis
- Evaluate statistical trends and take actions accordingly. Be prepared to present statistics on a weekly basis at company Marketing Meetings
- Implement and control competitive intelligence efforts
- Develop, implement, and control marketing/public relation campaigns and events
- Create and develop marketing literature, touch-points, and corporate information for given market areas
- Build and sustain productive and profitable relationships with key decision makers, medical professionals, and community leaders through a variety of mediums including; personal visits, presentations, written communications, corporate literature, promotional events, etc.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to large and small bodies of medical professionals and civic leaders
- Seek out new opportunities for growth and development
- Assist marketing team or take lead in the conceptual design and layout of brochures, information guides, website, calendars, newsletters and many other promotional and PR items
- Actively participate in strategic planning and weekly Marketing Meetings with marketing team, - -- Program Director, and Vice President to determine direction, needs, opportunities, and action
- Actively and aggressively market the company's membership program
- Continually do what is required and ethical to grow flight volume and market share
